Assistant Governor of Corporate Affairs, Bank of Papua New Guinea

Elizabeth Genia’s career spans 30 years of progressive growth - all of which has occurred during her tenure with the Central Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG). She currently serves as the Assistant Governor of Corporate Affairs overseeing all aspects of information and communications technology, human resources, and corporate services. She has a broad base of business experience in finance, auditing, corporate governance, strategic planning, administration, banking, human resources, corporate services, and information and communications technology.

Elizabeth is the Executive Sponsor of the BPNG Bitcoin and Blockchain research project, which has been the basis of our DLT work to date and has culminated in the convening of this conference today.
