Zev Shimko

director of corporate development, SALT Lending

Zev Shimko leads various corporate development and capital markets initiatives at SALT, including global expansion efforts, capital raising initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining SALT, Zev spent several years working at two marketplace lenders, Prosper and Upstart, in capital markets roles. At each company, Zev helped build out securitization programs, allowing for large capital inflows to fund future lending. His positions required extensive relationship development with institutional investors and investment banks. Prior to that Zev worked at Morgan Stanley. He started on the debt capital markets desk, working on multi-currency, multi-billion-dollar investment grade healthcare bond offerings. He then worked on the equity capital markets desk where he was part of a small team executing technology IPOs and follow-on offerings.
